Air Blue, Airbus Reports are coming in that an Airbus has crashed in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. The plane belongs to a private company Air Blue. It crashed into hills behind the capital Islamabad, where smoke was seen rising through heavy clouds, police said. The plane was on a domestic flight to Islamabad from Karachi with 152 people on board. Bad weather is hampering rescue operations. 152 feared killed. Pakistani television is showing images of smoke arising from a hillside in the Margalla Hills in poor weather conditions. A huge rescue effort has been launched. Details are still emerging. Also in the same building are the sales offices of the archipelagoOs main ferry company. Air Seychelles codeshares and operates all flights between Mahe and Paris with Air France, and Air France/KLM are major shareholders in Kenya Airways and partners in the worldOs third largest airline alliance, Sky Team. While the flights between Nairobi, KQOs hub and Mahe are not yet codeshared between the two airlines, fresh scope is nevertheless arising out of the sales office move, and speculation is now rife as to when, rather than if, the ties between Air Seychelles and Kenya Airways will further intensify.
