Emirates, the award-winning international airline, has launched the new Premium Arrivals service at Emirates Terminal 3 at Dubai International airport, the first of its kind offered by a commercial airline. The Premium Arrivals service will offer first and business class passengers, as well as Skywards Gold members, a more seamless arrival by collecting their luggage from the exclusive Premium Arrivals area. Premium customers flying to Dubai from the carrierOs four U.S. gateways -- New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco -- will have a designated arrival area at Carousel 10 located in the Arrivals Hall. Lufthansa said it plans to launch flights to Baghdad and Erbil from both Frankfurt and Munich during the summer schedule. It said demand for Iraq service is "growing" and traffic rights and "further infrastructure improvements" are required. Subsidiary Austrian Airlines currently serves Erbil from Vienna. Jan 12, 2010
