Military units are the target market for a new disposable airdrop system, designed to deploy small payloads of up to 100 pounds from a wide variety of aircraft. Called CopterBox, it is made of corrugated paper box and has three rotor blades that use auto-rotation to slow the payload's descent.

The rotor blades deploy when the system is dropped from an aircraft, causing CopterBox to rapidly decelerate as it descends to the ground.
