Airbus, Qatar Airways
Airbus signed a deal with Qatar Airways on Wednesday for 80 A350XWB aircraft with a total list price of USD$16 billion. The order replaces a 2005 agreement for 60 planes. A memorandum of understanding was signed at the Elysee palace in the presence of French President Nicolas Sarkozy and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. The aircraft include 20 A350-800, 40 A350-900 and 20 A350-1000. Deliveries will begin from 2013. May 31, 2007
