Air France unveils new economy and premium economy seating and service for 2014.

Air France unveiled the new economy and premium economy seating at the International French Travel Market on September 24-27. In the airlineOs economy section, new seat cushions and headrests will be installed, along with wider tray tables. Seats will be 20% wider and will offer 20% more legroom as well. All of the new seats will feature electrical outlets and headphone holders. The carrierOs premium economy section will have seats with more comfortable seat cushions, as well as multi-position footrests. In both economy and premium economy, touch screen monitors with HD selections will be available, with over 1,000 hours of music, movies, and TV programs. The meal service has also been upgraded, with a second hot dish and new gourmet offerings of candies and ice cream, all presented on eco-designed tableware designed by Catalan designer, Eugeni Quitllet. Organic produce, new tableware and a selection of new childrenOs games are part of the new offerings as well.
