Venezuela's Transcarga Int'l begins A300 freighter operations Transcarga International Airways, based at Caracas Simn Bolivar, has deployed its first A300B4(F), YV560T (cn 261), into revenue service on flights from Venezuela to Miami Int'l and Houston Intc'l. The freighter is part of a fleet of seven such aircraft the Venezuelan operator acquired, the rest of which are in storage in Orlando Sanford, Lourdes/Tarbes, or Caracas Simn Bolivar. Guam's cargo operator Asia Pacific starts fleet renewal with Boeing 757 Asia Pacific Airlines, based at Guam Int'l, is planning to introduce a first Boeing 757-200F freighter to its fleet by April or May of this year, a Tan Holdings spokesperson has confirmed. The ex-Nordwind Airlines aircraft N757QM (msn 27203) will be converted by Precision Aircraft Solutions and initially operate on routes between Guam and Honolulu.
