The purpose of this book is twofold. First, it explains the medical background of infections with the AIDS virus and the associated legal issues to members of medical and legal professions and to nonprofessionals as well. The second purpose is to prevent litigation by helping readers to become more familiar with their own legally recognized rights and, just as important, the legally recognized rights of others.
