AICPA tax division distinguished service award.

Alan R. Einhorn received the AICPA Tax Division 2007-2008 Distinguished Service Award on June 2, 2008. The award was presented by Jeffrey R. Hoops, chair of the AICPA Tax Executive Committee, at the spring meeting of the AICPA Tax Division in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mr. Einhorn is a partner in Deloitte Tax LLP in Washington, DC, and is the incoming chair of the AICPA Tax Executive Committee. During this past year, Mr. Einhorn chaired a task force that led the AICPA's efforts to get Congress to correct the unequal return reporting standards that were enacted in May 2007.
