AICPA's student recruitment campaign garners several prestigious national, international awards.

Catch Me if You Can, the forensic accounting contest and promotion that is part of the AICPA's five-year "Start Here. Go Places." recruitment campaign, won the coveted Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide "GLOBES Awards." The GLOBES honor the "Best of the Best" and the AICPA program was chosen from more than 330 campaigns that ran in the past year.

The AICPA campaign won in the "Best Use of Direct Marketing" category. In the "Best Use of Interactive Media," the AICPA secured the second-place gold award. Catch Me If You Can features an online game designed to change perceptions and portray the accounting profession as an attractive career opportunity for young people. Junior and senior high students were able to act as CPAs and sleuth their way through 12 intriguing financial crimes. Fully 32,000 students responded, 13,822 registered and 6,384 new leads were generated of students who may not have considered accounting before this experience.
