The AICPA has mailed its members a ballot on a proposed bylaw amendment to modernize the AICPA's requirements for admission to membership. Under the proposal, individuals could apply for membership if they at any time possessed a valid CPA certificate and the certificate was not revoked as a result of disciplinary action.
