Agreement sends Alaska timber to Taiwan.

AS 1.7 million agreement to export Southeast Alaska timber to Taiwan was announced recently by Alaska economic and resource development officials and Taiwan resource executives.

The announcement confirms terms agreed to by Sealaska Timber Corp. and Long Haeuser Enterprise Co. Ltd. of Taiwan. Sealaska Timber is a component of Sealaska Regional Native Corp., headquartered in Juneau.
