Joint International Geological Correlation Programme (IGCP) 588 and SAA Meeting

May 3-10--A weeklong combined conference-fieldtrip in the 50th anniversary year of the 1964 Mw9.2 Good Friday earthquake. We will visit sites which experienced coseismic deformation during 1964, but also record late Holocene paleosiemiscity and add to an increasing knowledge of seismic and tsunami hazard along the Aleutian megathrust.
