The Association for Enterprise Information recently announced the winners of its 7th annual Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards.

The top industry award went to Right Hemisphere for its aircraft computer aided design integration information. In this project, Right Hemisphere enabled an aerospace manufacturer to centralize its 3D computer-aided design product data so that it could be sourced, accessed, and visualized in a secure, collaborative, concurrent engineering and multi-disciplinary way.

For the first time, two winners were selected to receive the top government award. One program was the Defense Department's Automated Biomettic Identification System V.1 program submitted by the project manager for the Defense Department's biometrics program. ABIS is the central, authoritative enterprise repository for biometric data collected overseas from known and suspected terrorists.
