General Atomics Tests aim to boost safety for remotely piloted aircraft. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. officials have teamed up with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and the Federal Aviation Administration to test an Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast surveillance system on a Predator/Gray Eagle-series aircraft.
