Boeing Anodyne, Inc., a metal finishing company based in Santa Ana, California, has received an award from The Boeing Company for outstanding service and quality. Anodyne was tasked to help Boeing reduce their lead-times in the Emergent Build Center (EBC). Within one year, Anodyne received nearly 50,000 different parts for chemical processing from the EBC and received a 100% quality rating with an average turnaround time of 1.8 days, greatly reducing BoeingOs lead time and helping the EBC reach their target. John Giroux, Sr. of The Boeing Company stated, OThis award is to thank you for your outstanding performance in support of our emergent requirements. Your predictable, sustainable, and reliable lead-times have been the single most contributing factor to our Cycle Time Reduction Initiative. Anodyne has continued to not only meet, but in most cases beat advertised cycle times without sacrificing quality.O Sep 27, 2013
