"The 2020 census is shaping up to be a mess of historic proportions," according to Next City. In addition to increased concern among immigrant populations that census information will be used against them, this will also be the first digital census. The Census Bureau is hoping that the 35 percent of Americans who don't have reliable home Internet--people who are usually in hard-to-count areas--will be able to find a library or other hotspot so they can be counted accurately.
