While your editorial Comment "No Excuse for War" (October issue) is excellent, I was astonished by your Editor's Note justifying running ads that push tobacco, control of women's bodies, and, above all, bombing mosques! Certainly you don't accept articles that oppose The Progressive's values, or even sympathetic ones that you think aren't up to your standards.
