ACS creates $5K cash award for law-school faculty in memory of RBG.

The American Constitution Society has created a $5,000 cashaward for facultyin memory of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The organization announced the establishment of the ACS Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholar Award on Tuesday during its 2021 Annual National Convention.

The award will recognize an outstanding scholar who's in the early stages of an academic career and who has demonstrated qualities exemplified by Ginsburg: scholarly excellence, the ability to imagine how society might be more just and more equal, and the determination to use the law and one's scholarship to make the imagined real.
