We would like to thank a number of people without whom this book would

never have come to fruition. Firstly, I (Erica Bowen) would like to thank

Prof. Saville Kushner for supporting the early development of this book

after my very impulsive and patchy initial idea at the start of 2011. I would

also like to thank my co-editor Sarah Brown for volunteering to help me

edit the book after seeing the look of panic on my face when Saville

conf‌irmed that he thought it was a good idea.

Sarah and I would like to thank all of the contributors for taking the time

to provide some really interesting chapters, and we are delighted that this
