About the Editors

Kegan A. Brown is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins LLP.

He represents clients across industry sectors in complex environmental, products

liability, and toxic tort litigations. He also advises clients on environmental regu-

latory and transactional matters, with deep expertise concerning the investigation

and remediation of hazardous substances at both the federal and state levels. Mr.

Brown earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law–Newark and his B.S.

in criminology and justice studies from The College of New Jersey.

Andrea M. Hogan is Senior Counsel at Chevron Corporation, and was formerly

a partner in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins LLP, where she prac-

ticed environmental law. She has represented clients in a range of environmental

litigation matters in state and federal court, including under the Comprehensive

Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, Clean Water Act, and

Clean Air Act, as well as in tort litigation. Ms. Hogan has expertise in numerous

other areas of environmental compliance, enforcement, and regulation, with a

focus on issues related to contaminated sites. Ms. Hogan received her J.D. degree

from Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.A. in business economics and

political science from the University of California Santa Barbara.
