William Scheiderich is an attorney for the cities of Beaverton and Durham, Oregon. He has represented Oregon cities and fire districts for 30 years, after beginning his career representing various unions and their members and then in small business litigation. He is admitted to practice in Oregon courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His practice emphasis is now in municipal finance, infrastructure and development agreements, and labor and employment relations. He has taught municipal law as an adjunct professor at Eastern Oregon and Western Oregon Universities and is the president of the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Civil Service Commission. He is the author of a complete zoning code for the City of Durham and is working now on a rewrite of that city's comprehensive land use plan.
