About the Contributors

Kamran (Kamy) B. Ahmadian is a litigator at McGuireWoods LLP.

Kamy’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, including the

defense of consumer class actions and mass tort and product liability

claims. Kamy graduated magna cum laude from California Western

School of Law, where he served as executive editor for the California

Western Law Review and International Law Journal. Before joining

McGuireWoods, Kamy served as law clerk to the Honorable John A.

Houston, a federal district judge in the Southern District of California.

M. Laughlin Allen is a litigator at McGuireWoods LLP in the rm’s

Complex Commercial Litigation group. She has a broad litigation

background, but typically focuses her practice on nancial services

and other business litigation. She earned her law degree from the

University of Georgia School of Law, where she graduated with hon-

ors and was named to the National Order of the Barristers.

Mark E. Anderson is a litigation partner at McGuireWoods LLP in

the Products, Environmental, and Mass Tort department, and he

leads the rm’s national trial team. With three decades of experience

in high-prole health litigation matters, Mark continues an active

trial practice and has been honored to be inducted into the Amer-

ican College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial

Lawyers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Among other

accolades, Chambers USA lists Mark as one of America’s Leading

Lawyers for Business, and The Legal 500 has recognized him as a

Leading Lawyer in Product Liability, Mass Tort, and Class Action.
