Christian K. Adams is a partner with Carlsmith Ball LLP in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mr. Adams previously clerked for the Honorable David A. Ezra, former chief judge for the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and served as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Hawaii Richardson School of Law.

Hilary Ann Ballentine is an attorney with Plunkett Cooney in Detroit, Michigan, and concentrates her practice in appellate law. Her practice includes general liability, property, municipal, constitutional, and medical liability appeals. Ms. Ballentine has handled numerous appeals in the state and federal appellate courts, including the Michi gan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Ballentine is active in the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and serves as Co-Chair of its Amicus Section. As a member of DRI, Ms. Ballentine co-authored an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court case of Delbert Williamson v. Mazda Motor of America, Inc, et. al. She has also authored several publications, including a guide to appellate practice in the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Ballentine is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Law Review. She now sits as a Barrister on the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law American Inn of Court program.

Calvert G. Chipchase is a partner with Cades Schutte LLP in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a Lecturer in Law at the University of Hawaii Richardson School of Law. While on leave from Cades Schutte, Mr. Chipchase clerked for the Honorable Richard R. Clifton, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Honorable Alan. C. Kay, United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and served as chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Charles K. Djou (R-Hawaii).

Christi-Anne H. Kudo Chock is an attorney at Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has experience working on property and land use disputes involving, among other things, compliance with environmental and shoreline regulations, eminent domain, water rights and voting rights, as well as arbitration and litigation of construction and insurance issues. She co-authored the Hawaii chapter in the second edition of A State-by-State Guide to Construction & Design Law (ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section). She received her J.D. from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law and served as an extern for the Honorable Richard R.
