About the Author
Faith Pincus is an accomplished and experienced speaker who will boost
your self-confidence and give you the tools you need to succeed at public
speaking. Faith has trained CEOs, attorneys, elected and appointed offi-
cials, candidates, and management at nonprofit associations for more than
twenty-five years. As a licensed attorney and former Federal Law Clerk
she is also uniquely positioned to understand the speaking skills required
of attorneys. Faiths national Continuing Legal Education (CLE) busi-
ness, Pincus Professional Education, has also provided her with a unique
perspective regarding attorneys and others speaking at events and insight
provided by hundreds of justices and judges discussing what they expect
from attorneys in their courtroom.
Faith has an innate ability to see what works in the public speaking
context. She has an unbridled passion for public speaking and for help-
ing people become better communicators. Faith is an expert in the art of
persuasion and an accomplished speechwriter.
Current and former clients include Chevron, John Deere, Amgen,
Manatt Phelps and Phillips, Buchalter Nemer, the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, the U.S. Social Security Administration, the American
Diabetes Association of California, the American Lung Association of
California, the American Cancer Association, the Fair Political Practices
Commission (FPPC), Smith Amundsen, Farella Braun + Martel, Com-
mercial Law Litigators Association, and multiple other law firms, individual
attorneys, executives, and legal and national nonprofit associations.
Prior to opening Pincus Communications, Inc. and Pincus Professional
Education, Faith ran more than twenty-five political campaigns, including
campaigns for Congress, the California State Assembly and Senate, and
various City and County level seats and initiatives.
Faith previously taught communication at the university level, including
rhetoric (persuasion), public speaking, and interpersonal and small group
communication. She has published a variety of articles on communication
and persuasion, including an analysis of major war announcement speeches.
