Whenever The Progressive magazine arrives, I generally read it from cover to cover. The articles are well worth reading and I appreciate the effort that goes into the research. Stand-outs in the June/July issue were Bill Lueders's Comment, "Trump's Pandemic of Ignorance," and Ruth Conniff's column, "The GOP's Hollow War on 'Tyranny'" And, of course, Jim Hightower, whose column I always read first, was excellent ("Rescue the Post Office"). I counted at least twelve more authors whose articles were informative and well written.

However, I have one objection and that is the ad on the back page from the Freedom From Religion Foundation. I do not object to the organization and its view; however, the ad...
