Alaska Business Monthly has always been probusiness. It is our job to promote business and industry in the 49th state and recognize those who do it well. But it is also on our agenda to promote businesses that do business in an environmentally friendly manner. Growth is good, but not at the expense of our environment.

That's why a decade or more ago, ABM decided to celebrate those businesses who work hard to promote the environment, clean up the environment and push for greener issues. Much of our focus in many issues is on the greening of Alaska, climate change, LEED buildings, environmentally conscious development, etc.
