MIDYEAR MEETING
In accordance with S ection 9.1 of the
Association’s Constitution, the House of
Delegates Nominating Committee, at its
meeting on Sunday, Feb. 4 , nominated
Officers of the Association and members
of the Board of Governor s. For the list

DELEGATE-AT-LARGE ELECTION
Pursuant to Sectio n 6.5 of the ABA
Constitution, six Delegates-at-Large to the
House of Delegates wil l be elected at the
2018 Annual Meeting for three-year terms
beginning with th e adjournment of that
meeting and endin g with the adjournmen t
of the 2021 Annual Mee ting. Candidates
are to be nominated by writ ten petition.
The deadline for petitions is Wednesday,
May 16. For rules an d procedures, go to

Due to the nominatio n of Carole L.
Worthington for the Goa l III Woman
Member-at-Large on the Nominating
Committee, a Delegate-at-Large vacancy
will exist. To fill the vaca ncy, one Delegate-
at-Large to the Hou se of Delegates will
be elected at the 201 8 Annual Meeting
for a one-year term beg inning with the
adjournment of tha t meeting and end-
ing with the adjour nment of the 2019
Annual Meeting . Candidates are to be
nominated by written petition. The deadline
for petitions is Wednesday, May 1 6. For

GOAL III MEMBERS- AT-LARGE ON
THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The ABA President will app oint one Goal
III Minority Member-at-Large, one Goal
III Woman Member-at-Large and one
LGBT Member-at-Large to the Nominating
Committee for the 201 8-2021 term.
These appointments will be made from
broadly solicited nominations from the
diversity commissions, sections, divisions
and forums, state and local bar associations,
and the membersh ip at large. If you are
