DELEGATE-AT-LARGE ELECTION

Pursuant to Sectio n 6.5 of the ABA Consti tution, six

Delegates-at-Large to the House of Delegates will be elected

at the 2018 Annual Meeting for three-year terms beginning with

the adjournment o f that meeting and endin g with the adjournme nt

of the 2021 Annual Mee ting. Candidates are to b e nominated

by written petition. The deadline for petitions is Wednesday,

Due to the nominatio n of Carole L. Worthing ton as the Goal

III Woman Member-at-Large on the Nominating Committee,

a Delegate-at- Large vacancy will ex ist. To fi ll the vacancy, one

Delegate-at-Large to the House of Delegates will be elected at

the 2018 Annual Me eting for a one-year term b eginning with the

adjournment of tha t meeting and ending w ith the adjournment of

the 2019 Annual Me eting. Candidates are to b e nominated by

written petition. The deadline for petitions is Wednesday, May 16.

GOAL III MEMBERS-AT-LARGE

ON THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The ABA President will appoint one Goal III Minority

Member-at-Large, one Goal III Woman Member-at-Large

and one LGBT Member-at- Large to the Nominatin g Committee

for the 2018-2021 term. These appointments will be made

from broadly solicited nominations from the diversity commissions,

sections, divisions and forums, state and local bar associations,

and the membersh ip at large. If you are interested i n submitting
