THE ABA'S NOMINATING COMMITTEE has selected the official slate of candidates for ABA officers for election at the association's annual convention to be held in San An-tonio October 23-26.

The committee, chaired by Art Johnson, chairman and CEO, United Bank of Michigan, Grand Rapids, Mich., nominated these candidates for ABA officer positions:

* Chairman: Albert C. Kelly, Jr., president and CEO, SpiritBank, Bristow, Okla.

* Chairman-Elect: Matthew H. Williams, chairman and president, Gothenburg State Bank, Gothenburg, Neb.

* Vice Chairman: Jeff L. Plagge, president, Northwest Financial Corp., Arnolds Park, Iowa.

* Treasurer: Stephen G. Crowe, president and CEO, MountainOne Financial Partners, MHC, North Adams, Mass.

The committee also selected these nominees for the ABA Board of Directors for election at the ABA Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas:
