ABA launches new wealth management and trust online training courses.

ABA HAS LAUNCHED ABA WEALTH MANAGEMENT AND TRUST ONLINE TRAINING, a new st ite of self-paced courses focusing on critical competencies for advisers to master in order to best serve trust clients and their families. The courses were developed in response to the industry's talent management needs, as a significant number of senior wealth management and trust managers are expected to retire over the next several years, and banks are preparing now by identifying training needs among their staff.

Well-trained advisers help elevate team performance and provide future leadership within the bank, observes Jim Edrington, executive vice president of ABA's Professional Development Group.
