AICPA and AAM to co-locate Practitioners Symposium/TECH+ conference and annual marketing Summit.

The AICPA has decided to co-locate the Practitioners Symposium/TECH+ conferences with the Association for Accounting Marketing's Annual Marketing Summit. The integrated conference will take place June 11-13, 2012, in Las Vegas. PCPS is actively involved in planning the Practitioners Symposium and PCPS members will receive a $125 discount off the AICPA member rate.

"We're excited about the opportunity to bring the marketing conference and its professionals closer to the CPA profession by allowing CPA firm partners, technical staff and marketing professionals to attend both conferences simultaneously," said Jim Metzler, AICPA vice president, small firm interests. "This will be a must attend event for CPA firms of all sizes."

The co-location of the two conferences allows CPA firms to experience hands-on the four key areas of practice management under one roof - human capital/staffing, leadership, marketing and technology. This is the first time they will have the opportunity to address these strategies and firm issues real-time among their colleagues. The AAM summit provides three levels of marketing guidance for the novice, intermediate and experienced marketer, assisting all firm members as they seek to build their practices.
