Airlines for America (A4A), Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) and the Southwest Airlines Pilots' Association (SWAPA) on Tuesday sent a letter to senators asking them to oppose the planned opening of a Customs and Border Protection pre-clearance facility at the Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. "No U.S. passenger airline currently provides direct scheduled service between the United States and Abu Dhabi," the letter said.
