Texas lawmakers got a jump on the winter holiday season this spring with a measure that addresses yuletide greetings. The bill allows "students and district staff to offer traditional greetings regarding the celebrations." Among the salutations to be allowed, without fear of lawsuits, are "Merry Christmas," "Happy Hanukkah" and "Happy Holidays."
