VI. (§9.42) Compensation of Guardians and Conservators
A guardian and/or conservator is to be allowed compensation as deemed just and reasonable by the court. There is no statutory fee as for the personal representative in a decedent’s estate, and the court cannot arbitrarily fix a fee schedule to determine what is “just and reasonable compensation” for a guardian or conservator without taking into account evidence of the reasonable value of the services.
