§ 9.4 APPEALS—TRANSITION PERIOD AFTER APPEAL

In changing a custody award following the appeal of a proceeding under ORS 109.119, if a long period of time occurred between the trial court award and the decision on appeal, the court may order a "period of transition" regarding the move from one household to the other, designed to ensure that the child's best interests are met.
