§ 9.4.4 Costs and Judgment
The clerk of the court is to include the award of costs in the entry of judgment. A.R.S. § 12-347. Effective January 1, 2017, Ariz. R. Civ. P. 54(h)(1) similarly provides that claims for costs must be resolved before the entry of judgment and any award of costs must be included in the judgment.
