5. (§9.38) Claims
Conservators must also deal with claims filed against the protectee’s estate. The procedure for filing claims against the estate is set out in § 475.205, RSMo 2016. Claims arising before or after the conservatorship may be filed in the probate division and may be allowed or disallowed in whole or in part. See id.
Claims against the estate are divided into four classes:
1. Court costs
2. Administration expenses including guardian, conservator, and attorney fees
