§ 9.3.2.7 Jury Fees and Expenses

The trial court is required to include in its judgment the cost of jury fees paid by the county. A.R.S. § 12-332(B). The court must determine which parties to tax for jury fees at the time it renders judgment. The taxed party is to pay the jury fees to the clerk of the court. Before a county can institute an action to collect jury fees, it must first record the jury fee judgment in the county recorder's office within 30 days of the judgment being entered. A.R.S. § 12-332(B)(1). After recording the judgment, the county can commence an action to collect the jury fees at any time and the judgment does not expire until it is paid in full. A.R.S. § 12-332(B)(2).
