9.21 DEFENDANT'S CASE
9.2101 Order of Witnesses Generally. No strict rule about the order of witnesses to be called during the defendant's case exists; this is, again, a matter of judgment. The sequence will be determined by a number of factors: (i) the facts of the case; (ii) whether the best method of presentation is chronological or thematic; (iii) the availability of witnesses, some of whom may be experts from distant locations; (iv) the court's schedule; and (v) the length of the trial.
