2. (§9.16) Notice to Close Relatives and Others
Section 475.075.2, RSMo Supp. 2020, requires that written notice of the proceeding be given to those persons who must be listed in the petition. Notice must be given to the spouse, parents, and adult children of the respondent, and if none are known, notice must be given to at least one of the respondent’s adult close relatives.
