Plaintiff-appellant Dylan Sinn was incarcerated within the Indiana Department of Corrections ("IDOC") from June 2011 to February 2015. In 2014, while an inmate at Putnamville Correctional Facility ("Putnamville"), he suffered injuries from two separate assaults by other inmates. Sinn filed this lawsuit pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983 against defendants-appellees, various prison officials, alleging deliberate indifference in violation of the Eighth Amendment.
