77 bank marketers receive new CFMP designation.

Seventy-seven bank marketers have been designated as Certified Financial Marketing Professionals (CFMP). The new designation was given by the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) to those marketers who, on the basis of experience and education, were eligible to receive the designation through grand fathering. The limited grand fathering period ends on Jan. 31.

After the cut-off date, marketers applying for the designation must also pass a certification exam.

As of Nov. 1, 2002, the following persons had received the CFMP designation:
