This is a wonderfully enjoyable book from which all trial lawyers can learn. From the beginner to the veteran advocate there are lessons to be gained and pleasure to be had from this witty and wise distillation of over forty years of Henry Miller's experience in the courtroom as a well-known and highly regarded trial lawyer. Trial lawyers are inundated with books and multi-volume tomes on trial practice and advocacy. Supplemented regularly, many of them gather dust in law libraries as busy litigators cannot find the time to read them. This little gem summarizes a lifetime of courtroom experiences by an active and observant trial lawyer and does it all in one hundred sixty-five pages with warmth and perceptive humor. It makes a great read by a roaring fire on a cold winter's night.

This is also a good book for the trial lawyer to keep on hand in the office to reread from time to time.
