4. (§7.5) Perfect Title Not Required
Plaintiffs do not need to prove indefeasible title against the whole world. Ollison v. Vill. of Climax Springs, 916 S.W.2d 198, 203 (Mo. banc 1996). It is sufficient to only prove superior title to that of the defendants in the action. Id. Plaintiffs in a quiet title suit must rely on the strength of their own title. Id. It is insufficient to merely plead and allege facts establishing that the title of the defendants is inferior. Id.
