7.10 CANCELLATION OR REJECTION OF BIDS; WAIVER OF MINOR DEFECTS OR VARIATIONS

7.1001 Right to Cancel or Reject. An ITB, RFP, any other solicitation, or any and all bids or proposals may be canceled or rejected, provided that the public body's reasons for the cancellation or rejection are made part of the contract file. ¹⁷⁸ The only limitation is that a public body may a not exercise such rights solely to avoid awarding a contract to a particular bidder/offeror. ¹⁷⁹
