Is execution by a firing squad cruel and unusual punishment? In 1878 the U.S. Supreme Court said, "No." But that question is being revisited after a Wyoming lawmaker announced he's drafting a bill that calls for a firing squad to execute condemned prisoners since lethal injection chemicals are becoming difficult for states to obtain.
