6.6 PROTECTIVE ORDERS

6.601 Grounds for Motion. Under Rule 4:1(c), a motion for protective order may be made either by a party or by the person from whom discovery is sought, in order to protect the party or person from annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, or undue burden or expense.
