6.5 SUPPLEMENTATION OF DISCOVERY RESPONSES

6.501 Mandatory Supplementation.

A. In General. A party whose discovery responses are complete when made has no duty to supplement or correct those responses to include subsequently acquired information except under the circumstances set forth in Rule 4:1(e).

B. Fact Witnesses. Under Rule 4:1(e)(1)(A), a party must promptly supplement all responses to discovery requests directly addressed to "the identity and location of persons having knowledge of discoverable matters." This supplementation must occur "when additional or corrective information...
