6. [§ 6.26] Stay of the sale/dismissal of the foreclosure

A borrower, record owner, or other interested party may file a motion to stay the sale of the property and dismiss the foreclosure action. Md. Rule 14-211(a)(1). This motion must be filed by a certain deadline, which will vary depending on whether the property is owner-occupied residential property, and if so, whether foreclose mediation was conducted. Md.
