SECTION 4.4 – EFFECT OF ADOPTION ON INHERITANCE

An adopted child is treated the same as a natural child of the adopting parent(s) for inheritance. A.R.S. § 14-2114(B). For example, F and M adopt child A and have a natural child B. The family tree looks like this:
